We shared with you all earlier this month that the exciting “Most Beautiful Eyes Contest” was on the horizon and now, the state winners have been announced!
We can probably all agree that our eyes are one of the most defining characteristics of our physical appearance. And since each set of eyes is so different, celebrating their uniqueness is a wonderful thing to do. This is exactly what we had the opportunity to take part in during Prevent Blindness America’s recent Most Beautiful Eyes Contest.
Submissions came from all over the country, and each displayed a uniquely beautiful pair of child’s eyes. Though it was difficult, judges narrowed down the results by choosing a winner from each state. For the next phase of the contest, a celebrity panel of judges that will include Larry King, Curt Menefee, and Barbara Eden will determine the national winner of the contest.
The purpose behind the contest is one that we can certainly identify with. Prevent Blindness America’s goal is to build awareness about the importance of eye safety – it’s a fantastic mission and we are proud to once again sponsor the contest.
